
Proud to announce that Michael Murphy Productions’ “Rhythm Kitchen” is a multi award winner at the 46th annual Telly Awards. The program was one of 13,000 entries representing the most innovative stories being told across all screens this year.
Rhythm Kitchen explores the fusion of food and music through the senses of Chefs and Musicians; complemented with commentary from scholars, food critics and restaurateurs. The first episode features New Orleans’ Executive Chef-Christopher Lynch, Musician, Producer, and Music Educator- Delfeayo Marsalis, Culinary Historian, Author, and Filmmaker-Zella Palmer and Restaurateur Tony Tocco.

The series spotlights the similarities in the creative process of chefs and musicians and how music brings an additional immersive sense to the food experience when one hears the music and tastes the food. The series was the brainchild of Tony Tocco who has had extensive experience with food and music throughout his career and developed in conjunction with Michael Murphy Productions. The program will be aired by WYES, a Public Television Broadcasting station for Southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
